No plastic surgery needed: Cartoon character sparks bizarre 'ribbon boob' craze

A CARTOON character has inspired hundreds of women to try a bizarre cleavage boosting trick - using a ribbon.
Japanese fans have been copying Anime character Hestia's trick for a bigger bust Hoards of Japanese women are tying ribbons below their breasts and around their arms in a bid to increase their busts. Not satisfied with a good old padded bra woman have taken to copying anime character Hestia who wears a ribbon around her ample chest and arms as the star of series Is It Wrong To Pick Girls Up In A Dungeon. The theory is that by tying a length of ribbon under the breasts and arms they will be lifted every time a woman raises her arms. In Japan the craze has been a major hit with 'cosplayers' - anime fans who dress as their favourite fictional characters. The first episode of the show was broadcast last week, sparking a plethora of fans showing off their attempts at the look on Twitter.
Women have been posting their Hestia' attempts on Twitter I got my wife to do the Hestia trick for me Twitter user Some adventurous women have claimed the ribbon is the key to a bustier look while others insisted the trick was a flop. One posted on Twitter: "Would a ribbon like Hestia's actually give me any uplift? Result: Not in the slightest. "Concusion: It just makes it hard to move and the ribbon is cutting into my arms." One man revealed he had persuaded his wife to try out the Hestia look. He wrote: "I got my wife to do the Hestia trick for me."
